'The Mystery of the Ordinary' explores the evolution of René Magritte’s work from 1926 to 1938, an intensely innovative period in which he developed key strategies and techniques to defamiliarise the familiar—to make, in his words, “everyday objects shriek out loud.” The exhibition explores the artist's breakthrough surrealist years with pivotal works from the 1920s and 1930s. An adventure to New York's Flower District on 28th St
